Tour de France 2016
Book Now, we have had a great deal of interest from fans wishing to attend the Tour de France 2016 in a camper van or motor home. The Tour de France will be hosted in France between the 2nd July and 24th July 2016.
Getting to the different stages, and finding accommodation near each stage is a lot of planning and challenge without a campervan. If you want to follow the route in person then the obvious choice is to travel and stay in a camper van.
We have developed a special Tour de France 2016 campervan hire package and are now taking bookings for this period.
Tour de France Campervan Rental Packages
The 2016 Tour de France route was officially revealed in Paris in October 2015, with its 21 stages between Mont Saint-Michel and Paris including a stage up the legendary climb of Mont Ventoux, as well as two tough looking individual time trials.
Unlike most other motorhome and campervan rental companies, we are not fixing you down to renting the camper for the whole period of the Tour de France, but have given you the opportunity to book the rental days you actually want (minimum of a 7 day rental period).

Fully comprehensive vehicle insurance** for the UK and France with a £1250.00 excess**, vehicle breakdown cover for UK and France, bike rack (fitted upon request), cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, kettle, T pot, 1 gas bottle (gas bottle is as the previous hirer left it, a 2nd bottle is full at the additional cost of £25.00), toilet chemical, user manual, water hose, water canister, water funnel, 240v electric cord with European adapter, wood levelling blocks, dustpan & brush. Free car storage for one vehicle for the duration of your hire.

Payment Terms:
A £500.00 non refundable deposit will be payable on booking and the remaining rental balance due 6 weeks before the hire start of your rental.
Following our experience of renting camper vans and motorhomes out for events, such as, Tour de France we have added some special terms and conditions to protect ourselves from the minority of clients who might have an unsuitable use for our Pristine motorhomes in mind.
Hirers with honourable intentions have nothing to fear from these special terms!
Special Terms in addition to our standard terms and conditions:
A £1250.00 security deposit** will be taken/processed on the main driver’s credit or debit card upon collection (and released 3 working days after the motorhome is returned, pending safe return of the vehicle, and in the same condition that it went out in - our normal terms and conditions for more information on how to return the motorhome).
The limit for the final cleaning charge has been raised from the usual £100.00 to a maximum of £300.00.
The hirer undertakes to ensure that at least one member of the hire party sleeps in the vehicle overnight on every night of the hire and that the vehicle is never left unattended (except when left on a secure campsite*** with an entry barrier and perimeter fence) between the hours of 18:00 and 06:00. Any attempted theft or damage incurred due to failure to comply with this condition will not be claimable on our insurance and will be paid for in full by the hirer.
The main driver will need to make all payments on their debit or credit card.
Credit card payments carry a 2% handling fee, the £1250.00 security deposit is excluded from this charge.
